The National President of the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) in Sierra Leone, Rev. Moses Musa Jawara, together with Rev. Thomas Dyakama, paid a special visit to the CRC Church in Makeni. The visit was warmly received by church leaders and members, led by the host, Rev. Amadu Favour Koroma.

In his welcome remarks, Rev. Koroma expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the visit. He stated that it was a great honor to host the National President and Rev. Dyakama, along with their team members, Brother John and Sister Elizabeth. He emphasized that their presence was a blessing and a sign of unity within the CRC family.

The church service was powerful and spirit-filled. Rev. Thomas Dyakama delivered a strong sermon, preaching from Mark 4:36-41 and Mark 5:1-20. His message encouraged the congregation to have faith in God, trust Him in difficult times, and believe in His power to transform lives. Many church members were inspired by the sermon and felt spiritually uplifted.

After the service, a meeting was held between the national leadership and the church leaders. During the meeting, special prayers were offered for Evangelist Edrisa, who recently graduated. The church thanked God for his achievement and prayed for success in his future endeavors.

A key moment in the meeting was when the church leadership humbly apologized to the national president and the entire CRC leadership for any past misunderstandings. They expressed their commitment to unity and assured the president of their full support in strengthening the Christian Reformed Church in Makeni and beyond.

In response, Rev. Jawara appreciated the church’s sincerity and willingness to work together. He encouraged them to remain united and committed to the vision of the church. He reminded them that faith, love, and cooperation are essential in building a strong Christian community.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both the national leadership and the local church agreeing to work hand in hand to spread the gospel and promote the mission of the Christian Reformed Church in Sierra Leone.

The visit was a great success, leaving the congregation encouraged and committed to supporting the work of the CRC in their community.
